Week 10 & 11: NPR Technology Podcasts

Week 10
Today is Wednesday! A new podcast will be released tonight. HOWEVER! Your podcast assignment for this week is different! :-)
I'd like for you to listen to your classmates' podcasts (on their blogs) and submit your reflections and response directly in the comments field on their blogs. You will be graded in a similar way to the regular podcasts: thoughtfulness, connections to other work, reply to all three stories. Additionally, you should comment on the "design" of your classmates' podcast. For instance, did you really like the sound effects or music used? Please see me with any questions.

Week 11
Because Thanksgiving Break will begin next Wednesday, the Week 11 Podcast will be an opportunity for EXTRA CREDIT! That's right! If you listen to the NPR: Technology Podcast released on 11/24 and post by midnight 11/29, you will receive extra credit points. So, if you have missed a podcast this semester, or would like to bring up your podcast grade, this is a good opportunity to do so! The extra credit podcast will be graded just like the other podcasts and any points you earn will be added to your current total. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask!

Week 9 NPR: Technology Podcast

Today is Wednesday, November 10, 2010 and I hope you are enjoying your day off! A new NPR: Technology Podcast will be released tonight. Please remember to post your reflection on your blog and to do so by Midnight, Monday, November 15, 2010.

As a reminder, 2 of the 50 points awarded for this assignment will now be reserved for comments you post on your classmates' blogs. So, this means that in order to earn all 50 points, you MUST have commented on at least two other blogs.

Week 8 NPR: Technology Podcast

Today is Wednesday, November 3, 2010 and a new NPR: Technology podcast will be released tonight!! Please remember that the response to this podcast, and all future responses, should be posted to your new blog! We will no longer use the discussion board on Moodle to post responses.

As before, please provide comments to your classmates' blog entries - it's always nice to know someone is reading and has a reaction to what we write! Two of your 50 points will now be reserved for commenting on classmates' posts :-)

This podcast response is Week 8 and the response is due by midnight Monday, 11/8.
